Homemade Dog Food Treat Recipe #4: Crunchy-dog Treats

• 1 package of turkey franks, chicken franks, or reduced fat hot dogs

All you do here is slice the dogs in half lengthwise then cut those pieces into thirds, and cook the heck out of them until they are hard. Microwaves work great, do about 2 minutes at a time and move them around a little until they get hard and crisp. Refrigerate and break them out at will.
