You can find anything from sweaters to costumes for dogs to wear.  Some people always have sweaters on their dogs and this can really be beneficial if you have a small dog that is constantly cold.  It is also a good to have one of these sweaters on a dog when it is outside in the snow.  Just make sure that your dog does not become accustomed to wearing a sweater and then have to go out without it. This could make the dog uncomfortable.  As far as costumes are concerned, there are many different varieties to choose from.  I have seen costumes for little dogs and big dogs that are either funny or scary.  Some of these costumes even include a wig that you can put on your dog.  Many people find this amusing and enjoy seeing pictures of dogs with various costumes on.

One final thing that we will consider is the type of bed that you will get for your dog.  There are companies that specifically manufacture beds for dogs and they come in all shapes and sizes.  Many people will get their dog a bed that has their name embroidered on it.  The dog really doesn't care if its name is on the bed or not, but people do.  What is most important when choosing a dog bed is that it is comfortable, dry and warm.

Owning a dog can certainly give you more of a reason to accessorize than just getting things for yourself.  Fortunately there are many items available out there to give your dog that will make them stand out from the crowd.  By doing so you are also accessorizing yourself.
